Qld: Man critical following house fire
Police say a man is in a critical condition in hospital following a house fire west of Brisbane.
Queensland fire officers found the 61-year-old man in the house at Peppers Mountain,in Geham about 4am (AEST) when they were called to attend a fire.
They arrived to find the house, along with a garage and shed, well alight but broughtthe fire under control.
The man's been taken to the Toowoomba Base Hospital.
A police spokesman says investigations into the fire will continue today.
