FED: Five minutes advice reduces alcohol intake by one third

CANBERRA, Jan 11 AAP - Five minutes of advice from a doctor can help reduce the level of
alcohol a heavy drinker consumes by almost one-third, a new survey has found.
A World Health Organisation (WHO) survey revealed people who were advised of the dangers of
drinking alcohol cut their intake by 30 per cent over an 18 month period.
WHO's Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test (AUDIT), which is part of their Drink-less
