Qld: Borbidge keeps going despite being voiceless
BRISBANE, Feb 6 AAP - Hoarse Queensland Opposition Leader Rob Borbidge has called in
backup to help him stay on the campaign trail for the February 17 election despite being
ordered by a doctor to stay quiet for 48 hours.
With Deputy Opposition Leader Lawrence Springborg set to announce a major coalition
policy today, Mr Borbidge, who lost his voice after battling a head cold for several days,
has vowed to keep campaigning.
