Fed: ACT to send firefighters to Victoria
CANBERRA, Feb 8 AAP - Firefighters and tankers from the ACT will be sent to help with
the Victorian bushfire emergency.
Chief Minister John Stanhope said details of the assistance were still being finalised
but the ACT expected to send 10 light and heavy tankers, as well as firefighting personnel.
Mr Stanhope offered his sympathies to the people of Victoria.
